The existing Heritage listed building in Barton was refurbished including two new insertions. The renovated building included two levels of commercial office space, two new multi level insertions and an integrated fit out suited for an Australian Government tenant with high level security requirements, including a data centre, and extensive services redundancy requirements. The refurbishment also included landscaping, access ways and boundary treatment. After the works were completed the building achieved the Property Council of Australia Grade A matrix for existing buildings and 4.5 star NABERS and 5 star Green Star ‘As-Built’ ratings.
